The Sony PS Vita release date may have been outed as October 28th 2011, if publicity materials from Blockbuster are to be believed.
Sony's follow up to the PSP handheld cropped up on a list of upcoming Blockbuster big holiday releases including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations and Gears of War 3.
According to the flyer (pictured), the WiFi and 3G versions of the PS Vita will both launch on the same day, priced at 229.99 and 279.99, respectively.
The PS Vita was announce by Sony at this year's E3 after months of speculation on the existence of a "PSP 2". According to the Sony press conference, over 80 titles are in development for the handheld, with "virtually every publisher" signed on to produce their own Vita games.
